Are there any sure ways to grow taller?
I’m tired of being 5”1 and I hate walking in high heels. I’m 16 and my mom said that I’m done growing. I know those pills and creams advertised on the internet are probably scams. Are there any other proven ways or specific exercises that work to increase height?

I read a study when I was younger, people who get at least 8 hours of sleep a night and sleep in a completely black room grow on average an inch taller than their genes dictate. . . you are starting to be too old. . I stopped growing at 15.

As far as I know it’s all genetics, there is no magical way to increase your height, I’m short too and you just learn to live with it I suppose.
At least you aren’t super tall?

No, not really. The only option that actually works is that human growth hormone stuff, but its pretty unhealthy and is prescription only. No normal/sane doctor would give you a prescription for something like this though? Apparently some people order it off the internet and try to dose themselves but those sites are always really sketchy and frequently sell contaminated/fake drugs.
I think your mom is probably right, most girls are done growing around your age. Just make sure you eat well, get enough vitamins and are healthy overall, if you are meant to grow a little more then that will help. If you’re missing some nutrients that can stunt your growth.
You could also try some exercises to improve your posture. That doesn’t really make you taller but even a little slouching definitely makes you look shorter. I think pilates is good for that, pushups, yoga, etc.

* ADVICE FOR HEIGHT__
Good intake of calcium daily as found in various foodstuffs like tonned milk, banana, ragi, nachni, yogurt, my favourite nachos with cheese..
a best way i cud advice is to have milk shakes(chocolate, coffee flavoure) 2-3 times a day as an replacement for tea, coffee is a good alternative…
Good sleep aftr exercises helps ur bones to relax and expand.. Atlest 8hrs good sleep at night…
Remember food without exercises or exercises without food wont help you much.
Also there are genetics n familial relationships related to height.. i.e if either ur parents are short heighted or either ur brother , sister.. than there are little chances for increase in height…BUT keep a positive attitude follow the daily regimen of food n exercises.If you goin to gym regularly, i wud advice not to perform any weight lifting exercises… stritctly NO..
